The man that owns this is nice, but firm. The buns are all good prices. I got the Sui Mai, it was pretty good, but my belly didn't agree with it too much.

I haven't updated a review since my review of the day in 2016. I love this Chinese bakery and, from time to time, drop in with my family or sneak treats with my oldest. My kids love this bakery as much as I do. Family owned and operated, the owner greeted me on this last visit that he hadn't seen us in a while. I joked that I was watching my carbs. Lol, I hadn't been in a while because I have no willpower when it comes to food! Sorry, coach, if you're reading this. The owner has changed a few things on this menu since reopening after Covid. They serve dim sum, more bakery items, and only a variety of buns for the day; get there at opening to have your pick. Sesame balls are a must here! Taro and egg custard are my favorite sweet buns, and their chicken curry and pork buns are my favorite savory buns. I tried a few new desserts, a single egg yolk pastry, a Taro su, and a taro roll cake. I would highly recommend it all! My daughter had to try the taro cake roll because they were out of the taro buns already. Can you tell we love Taro? It's our island roots. It's just a quaint little shop locally owned and operated. Honey bakery is located in the Savemart shopping center off of Keystone. Tip: Double-check posted hours. They close for a month from January-February. The owner is great about posting when he closes the shop. Dim sum is made to order, so give yourself time to wait. I always come back.

Strip mall is in reasonably good repair and cleanliness. Interior is clean and in good repair Slight language barrier. The steamed buns are excellent. They mass-produce instead of use small bamboo baskets, so, the buns are 'larger' and 'shorter.' The sweet-stuffing buns are very good. They serve various creams-, custards-, meats-, and purées- stuffed buns. They also make cakes.

I really enjoy Honey Bakery and what they offer! When walking in, you're greeted by the owners and display cases that shows what is offered. They are very friendly and will answered questions you may have. The shop itself is small and offers a table to eat, but I'd recommend taking your food to go. I find the prices to be fair and the food to be really yummy! I'd be interested in ordering a custom cake due of the fruit options. I'll be eagerly returning to try every item, for sure recommend checking out!

Quality/Quantity - All made from scratch. Today, we got 4 different kinds of buns - BBQ Pork, Chicken, Pineapple, and Coconut Pineapple. All were good, but not as good as the ones we get in the Bay Area, CA. We also bought an egg tart and moon cake - The egg tart was okay, but the moon cake was the best out of all the pastries we got. They also have cakes, Dim Sum, a few selected entrees, tapioca drinks, etc; see pictures. Atmosphere - Small take out bakery. Open 7 days a week from 9:30am to 7pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - 5 stars, the lady (I think the owner, but she says she is not) was very friendly and helpful. Not only did she give us suggestions on what to buy, but she also advised us for future reference to call ahead and she will have our order ready for us. Price - $20, reasonably priced, but slightly more expensive than buying from the Bay Area, CA. Owner Comment - Congrats on your 16+ years of success.

A little part of me did not want to do this review because I want to keep them hidden for myself and for the people who already know about them, but I can not be selfish at all. Honey Bakery is probably the one of the only spots in town to get some incredibly delicious dumplings, shumai, buns and many more including pastries and boba!! Right off of Keystone Ave., the vibe and atmosphere of this place is original and he greets you right away which makes you feel welcomed. The price is beyond fair in my opinion. So you if you are in the mood for some delicious tasting food and dumplings, Honey Bakery is definitely the place! Ten out of ten I highly recommend!!! Thank you always for your service and spectacular food. Very good!!
